Founder’s Story

I'm Dr. Genhee So, an academic cross-sectional radiologist and the founder of ElevateMD. This work was born out of something deeply personal: burnout. Like many physicians, I was stretched thin between call shifts, family, and the endless demands of medicine. What magnified the stress wasn't just the workload-it was the financial uncertainty humming in the background.

Despite years of medical training, I realized I had almost no training in the language of money. I was late to understand how my financial health was directly tied to my overall well-being and career satisfaction. And when I began talking to colleagues, I discovered I wasn't alone. We all shared the same blind spots: compressed career timelines, complicated tax structures, fragmented investments, and major financial decisions made without the core literacy to navigate them confidently.

That realization was the spark for ElevateMD. This isn't about turning doctors into full- time investors or accountants. It's about giving physicians the clarity, frameworks, and confidence to make smart financial decisions-without shame for starting late or fear of getting it wrong.

Today, I share what I've learned through talks, workshops, articles, and webinars. My goal is simple: to help physicians reclaim their time, protect their wealth, and create freedom beyond the clinic. Because when our financial lives feel clear and stable, we can show up better in every other part of our lives.

ElevateMD exists to flip the script: to make financial literacy as essential to our well-being as the stethoscope is to medicine.
